Introduction
"They fear him they don't love him", these were the words of a concerned father talking to his son who was falling into a world full of senseless violence. Chazz Palmintari wrote A Bronx Tale, a coming of age story that details the life of young boy growing up in Belmont a working class Italian American town in the bronx in the early 1960s. This movie was the first movie I ever remember loving. It opened my mind and made me look at movies as a true art form that can display every emotion and feeling in seconds. My appreciation towards movies has only grown over the years as I discover more directors and actors or actresses that are able to make me feel one with the film. As for why I took this class, I really want to dive deeper into my own head and see what I am attracted to in the films.
